About KETO Products

What is a Keto Diet?

A ketogenic (or ‘keto’) diet is a low-carbohydrate, high-fat diet. People on a ketogenic diet eat a very small amount of carbohydrates, a moderate amount of protein and a high amount of fat per day. This means that the body burns fat for fuel, as its main source of fuel and breaks it down into ‘ketone bodies’ (or ‘ketones’) in a process called ketosis. People on a ketogenic diet usually eat only 20 to 50g of carbohydrates per day.

Who should go on a KETO diet?

A ketogenic diet should always be followed in consultation with your doctor or an accredited practising dietitian, to ensure that you get the right amount and types of fats, fibre and vitamins, as well as minerals like calcium, magnesium, iron and potassium.

What is Fructose Intolerance?

Fructose intolerance, also called dietary fructose intolerance or fructose malabsorption, happens when a person cannot properly absorb normal amounts of fructose (>25 grams per meal). About Our Pancake Range

What do I need to make your pancakes?

Simply add the required amount of milk of your choice to the amount of packet mix you wish to use. The specific instructions are on the packet. We recommend using butter in the pan while cooking for taste, but any oil sprays or non-stick surfaces would also work!

What do I serve with your pancakes?

Whatever you like really! The pancakes can be eaten plain, served with maple or honey and fresh or frozen fruits and berries. There are more indulgent combinations you can try such as bacon and maple (Candian style), with melted chocolate, ice-cream or cream, honeycomb, biscuit crumbs… really the options are endless and often depend on your own taste buds!

Do your pancakes have or need egg?

Our pancake mix contains an egg powder. You do not need to add egg.

Do you have a gluten free pancake mix option?

Yes! Our Coconut & Vanilla Pancake Mix is gluten free!

How do I cook the perfect pancake?

Combine milk and pancake packet mix per packet instructions using a whisk. Allow mixture to stand for 10 minutes. Lightly grease a pre-heated pan with butter. Pour a portion of the batter into the pan and allow it to spread evenly. Lightly fry pancake until bubbles start to form and the base is golden brown, then turn over and complete.

About Our Packaging

Is your packaging Resealable?

Yes, the stand up pouch bags we use have a Zip-lock to re-seal following opening, helping to keep your pack as fresh as possible

Is your packaging Recyclable?

We currently have a combination of packaging in place, with majority of our packaging is plastics resin code  , meaning it is made up of multiple polymer layers, and cannot be recycled easily – often ending up in landfill. Together with our packaging partners at Caspak, we have commenced the use of a mono structure i.e. a 2 layer packaging solution (2 layers of the same polymer – plastics resin code )- which can be recycled through the RedCycle soft plastic return to store systems. https://www.redcycle.net.au/where-to-redcycle/ About a quarter of our products have been rolled over and are using this material, with the remainder a gradual roll-over as our current packaging supplies are used. Caspak are also in discussions regarding the implementation of the “Roll to Recycle” kerbside recycling of soft plastics, which we will endeavour to implement once approved.

Can we buy your products in bulk to avoid any packaging?

For those who live locally, we can arrange pickup of bulk product from our facility. We also have a number of bulk wholefood stockists, where you can purchase all your favourites as well as other pantry items.
